Step 3: Calculate Maximum Velocity

The maximum velocity can then be determined using a kinematic equation:

$$Maximum~Velocity^2~({V_{max}}^2) = initial~velocity^2 + 2 \times a \times d$$ where: a = acceleration, d = distance traveled

Since the initial velocity is assumed to be zero, this equation simplifies to:

$$Maximum~Velocity (V_{max}) = \sqrt{2 \times a \times d}$$
